Now that From Blood to Roses is nearing release, I decided it was time to get myself an official author website – www.laurinkelly.com. This new website has a built in blog, so while I’ll be leaving my previous blog posts here, as of 9/16/17 any new posts will be located on the new site.
Thanks to everyone for supporting me here thus far, and I hope that you’ll continue the journey with me at my new home!
The new title of Fatal Kiss has been approved by Less Than Three Press. My second book is now officially titled From Blood to Roses!
This past week I received my first set of edits for my 2nd book, Fatal Kiss. I am thrilled to once again be collaborating with Emilia Vane, my rock star editor on Under the Knife.
There are some major changes that need to be made, and the revisions are due March 1st, so as you can probably guess I’m quite busy editing away these days.
Under the Knife is included in USA Today’s Romance book reviewer Becky Condit’s must-reads of 2016!
You can see the whole article and the rest of Becky’s recommendations here at USAToday.com.
This lovely review from Boy Meets Boy Reviews is amazing!
Official release day is tomorrow! Pre-order while you still have the chance. 🙂
Did a lot of soul searching this weekend, and I think I’m gonna put Gravity on the back burner for now and move forward with another story that’s been simmering in my brain for quite some time. I’ve been stuck for months with no end in sight, so the only thing I can think of to get me writing again is to move onto another project.
It kills me because I’ve never left a WIP unfinished before, but I really do believe that I’ll pick it up again at some point and finish it. But I’ve lost the urge to move forward with Jaeden and Connor’s journey right now, so it’s time to admit it and move forward.
I’ll be taking the WIP chapters down from LJ within the next week or so, and retiring the account in lieu of posting on this blog. I may post excerpts here or there, but I’ll no longer be posting chapter by chapter online going forward.
